ALGIERS- A total of 149 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus (Covid-19), 137 recoveries and seven deaths have been recorded over the past 24 hours in Algeria, the spokesman of the scientific committee for monitoring the progress of the coronavirus pandemic, Djamel Fourar, said Monday in Algiers.

GENEVA - On World Refugee Day, the United Nations called on countries to show solidarity with refugees and take them into account in responding to the Coronavirus pandemic, according to the UN website.

ALGIERS- National oil company Sonatrach and Tunisian electricity and gas company STEG have agreed to renew their natural gas sales and purchase agreement for eight years, until 2027, Sonatrach said in a statement.
