During a meeting organized Thursday at the Algerian embassy in London by Ambassador Amar Abba and attended by the Consul of Algeria, Kenza Benali, the minister said that this was not a commercial operation, but a promise by President Bouteflika to the Algerian nationals abroad that the government is working to fulfill.
The minister set out all aspects related to the formula, notably the administrative procedure, which was reduced to a simple subscription in addition to the communication mechanisms developed in collaboration with the Foreign Ministry.
A short film explaining the LPP housing formula was also screened.
"More than 17,000 subscriptions from the Algerian nationals in different parts of the world have already been registered, including 790 in the United Kingdom," said Temmar.
Nearly 7,000 subscribers have already chosen their place of residence, the minister said.
The Minister of Housing, Town Planning and the City said he had visited several countries including France and the Gulf region, to meet the members of the national community, listen directly to their suggestions and to provide them with the necessary information, adding that he intended to multiply these meetings in order to identify all the concerns of our fellow citizens on this subject.
