Marine pollution: Benharrats sounds alarm

TIPASA (Algeria)- Minister of Environment Nassira Benharrats, launching Thursday a pilot project for sorting marine litter in the harbour of Cherchell, Tipaza (70-km west of Algiers), said the "marine environmental situation requires to raise the alarm."
ALGIERS – President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired a working meeting on Thursday in the presence of the Prime Minister and a number of members of the Government, on the examination of matters relating to the Great Mosque of Algiers, the construction of the Center Port of El-Hamdania in Tipaza as well as to the financial management sector, the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement.
ALGIERS – Minister of Commerce Kamel Rezig affirmed, Thursday that the return of the foreign trade management by the licensing system "is ruled out for now."
