ALGIERS- The documentary film "Juba II" directed by Mokran Aït Saada has been screened Saturday in Algiers Cinémathèque.
TIPASA- Minister of Culture Malika Bendouda said Friday in Tipasa, that the official celebration of the new Amazigh year 2970, "Yennayer," aims to strengthen the constants of the national identity in its three components: Islam, Arabity and Amazighity.
TIPAZA- The official and national festivities of Yennayer, celebrating the beginning of the new Amazigh year 2970, kicked off Friday in Tipaza with a rich and varied cultural, social and academic programme.

CHLEF- The 1st Best Amazigh Couscous Contest kicked off Monday, in Chlef, at the initiative of the provincial cultural directorate with the participation of about twenty competitors from different regions, said the event’s organizers.
TIZI-OUZOU - The celebrations of the Berber New Year, Yennayer 2970, kicked off on Sunday in Tizi-Ouzou. A rich programme has been launched by various cultural centres, the local directorate of culture said.
TIZI OUZOU – The documentary on the artistic meeting between the musician and performer of the Andalusian song, Beihdja Rahal and Chaabi master late Cheikh El Hasnaoui, on march 29th, 2001 in Reunion Island, is an emotional testimony on the late misunderstood nostalgia artist. The meeting took place one year before the death of the Cheikh (July 6th 2002).
MILA- Photographer Fouad Tabhacht from the province of Chlef snatched the prize of the “best expressive photo” of the 8th National Photography Exhibition of Mila which wrapped up Wednesday at the arts centre M’barek El Mili.
