African Week at Unesco inaugurated

PARIS – The African Week at UNESCO has been inaugurated Tuesday at the headquarters of the UN Agency in the presence of Minister of Culture, Azzeddine Mihoubi, and many personalities representing the continent.
PARIS- Minister of Culture Azzeddine Mihoubi affirmed Tuesday, in Paris, that the cultural heritage, property of humankind, “is the result and source of living together,” explaining that it expressed the common experience.
ALGIERS-The Regional Rirector of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for the Maghreb region Golda El Khoury highlighted Thursday in Algiers the global role Algeria can play in the field of heritage.
ALGIERS- Algerian actress Sonia, who passed away Sunday at the age of 65, has been laid to rest Monday at Sidi Rezoug Cemetery in Algiers in presence of large crowd.

ALGIERS- Actress Sonia, stage name of Sakina Mekkiou, has died Sunday in Algiers at the age of 65, following a long illness, the manager of the Algerian National Theatre, Mohamed Yahiyaoui.
