ALGIERS – The High Commission of Tamazight (HCA) works to speed up the socialization of Tamazight language and spread its use in the public spaces, said Saturday in Algiers Si El Hachemi Assad, Secretary General of the HCA.

ALGIERS- High Commission for Amazighity (HCA) in collaboration with Algeria Press Service agency (APS) organize Saturday at APS headquarters an information forum under the theme “Tamazight and public service,” with the participation of  academic translators and in the presence of representatives of six ministries.

ALGIERS- The High Commission for Amazighity (HCA) will organize next week, in Tamanrasset, a seminar on the roots, variants and teaching of Tamazight on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day which occurs this year with the enshrinement of Yennayer as an official national holiday, said HCA on Wednesday.

ALGIERS- The officialization of Tamazight “definitely” sealed its appropriation by the Algerian people as a national and official language and as “an extra cement” of its national unity said Tuesday, the Secretary General of the High Commission of Amazighity (HCA) Si El Hachemi Assad.

ALGIERS-On the occasion of the celebration of Yennayer, the High Commission for Amazighity (HCA) and Algeria Press Service agency (APS) have co-published a magazine in two versions (digital and paper) on the multiple dimensions of this event based on a research conducted by teacher and writer Djamel Laceb.

GHARDAIA-Secretary General of the High Commission for Amazighity (HCA), Si El Hachemi Assad said Saturday that the recognition of the Amazigh culture and the institutionalization of Yennayer “strengthen the national identity based on unity in diversity.”

ADRAR- Several ministries are due to issue documents in Tamazight, said Sunday in Adrar the Secretary General of the High Commission for Amazighity (HCA), Si El Hachemi Assad.

ADRAR- Secretary General of the High Commission for Amazighity (HCA) Si El Hachemi Assad said Saturday, in Timimoun (province of Adrar), that this city is the first stage in the implementation of the instructions of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika concerning the gradual use of Tamazight in various fields.

ADRAR – General Secretary of High Commission for Tamazight (HCA), Si El Hachemi Assad expressed on Friday in Timimoun (the province of Adrar, 1 417 km southwest of Algiers) his "great satisfaction" with the efforts aimed at promoting the Tamazight language.

ALGIERS- The Secretary General of the High Commission for Amazighity (HCA), Si El-Hachemi Assad, welcomed, on Thursday in Algiers, the decision of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika to declare the celebration of the Amazigh new year, Yennayer, as a paid non-working day as from 12 January 2018, as it would contribute to consolidating the national cohesion.
