ALGIERS-Three hundred and seventy-nine (379) new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19), 281 recoveries and 08 deaths were reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, said Tuesday Spokesman for the Scientific Committee in charge of monitoring the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic, Dr Djamel Fourar.

PARIS-The novel coronavirus pandemic has killed at least 838,271 people worldwide since the office of the World Health Organization (WHO) in China reported the outbreak of the disease in late December, according to a tally from official sources compiled by AFP at 1100 GMT on Saturday.
