ALGIERS- The ministry of Foreign Affairs gave instructions to all Algerian diplomatic and consular representations abroad to lower the flag to half-mast and open the book of condolence, in line with the decision of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika to decree a three-day national mourning following the military plane crash in Boufarik, Blida, the ministry said in a statement.
ALGIERS- Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Affairs Ghania Eddalia announced Thursday, in Algiers, the opening of two centers coming under the sector of national solidarity in the province of Blida to deal with the concerns of the families of the victims of the military aircraft crash in Boufarik.
ALGIERS- The military aircraft crash of Wednesday morning near the air base of Boufarik (35-km south of Algiers), which claimed the lives of 257 people, including ten crew members, has continued to spark an outpouring of sympathy and compassion with the victims' families nationwide and worldwide.
