ORAN (Algeria)- Nine would-be immigrants were intercepted Tuesday by coastguard units off Cape Falcon, Ain El Turck, Oran (432-km west of Algiers) the security body's communication office said.

ALGIERS- Two drug dealers, in possession of 20,424 psychotropic substance tablets, were arrested Tuesday in Setif by a People's National Army unit, while another dealer, in possession of 25 kilogrammes of cannabis, was arrested by the National Gendarmerie in Relizane, the ministry of National Defence said Wednesday in a statement.

ALGIERS- Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and National Planning Noureddine Bedoui affirmed Sunday, in Algiers, that the recommendations of the National Forum on Illegal Migration (harga) will strengthen the action plan of the public authorities to face this phenomenon, announcing the setting up of an intersectoral mechanism to ensure the implementation of these recommendations on the ground.
