ALGIERS-President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has decided to grant a quota of 2000 hajj (pilgrimage) passports to citizens aged over 70 and having participated in more than ten unsuccessful hajj draws, announced the Ministry of Interior, Local Assemblies and National Planning in a communiqué.

ALGIERS- Minister of Religious Affairs and Waqfs, Mohamed Aissa announced Monday that the cost of the pilgrimage will be revised upward, due to the 5% tax imposed by Saudi Arabia.

ALGIERS-Registrations for hajj (pilgrimage) 2018 will start on Thursday 11 January until 31 January, the Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities and National Planning said in a communiqué.
