ALGIERS – New Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohamed Hattab, took on Thursday in Algiers his new role in replacement of El Hadi Ould Ali. The handover ceremony was attended by senior officials of the ministry.

ALGIERS-The Algerian government has granted US$70 million to the organizing Committee of the African Youth Games 2018 scheduled for 19-28 July in Algeria, announced Sunday the Minister of Youth and Sports El-Hadi Ould Ali.

BOUIRA- President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika “has greatly marked history” with the enshrinement of Yennayer as national and official holiday to further strengthen the unity of the Algerian people, said Monday, in Bouira, Minister of Youth and Sport El Hadi Ould Ali.

BOUIRA-Minister of Youth and Sports El-Hadi Ould Ali on Monday kicked off the official festivities celebrating the Amazigh New Year 2968 from the province of Bouira, where he attended various cultural activities on this occasion.

ALGIERS- Minister of Youth and Sports El Hadi Ould Ali will be in Cairo, Egypt, on January 5-6 for a coordination meeting between the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) and the Union of African Sports Confederations (UCSA) to make the finishing touches to the African Youth Games (AYG) 2018, to be hosted by Algeria July 19-28, the UCSA's chairman, Egyptian Ahmed Nasser, said Monday in Algiers. 

ADRAR- Minister of Youth and Sports El Hadi Ould Ali kicked off Sunday evening, in Adrar, the 4th edition of the event “Algeria host of its desert.”

 TIZI OUZOU-State constitutionalized Tamazight as a national and official language, “and will not retreat from its promotion,” stressed Saturday Minister of Youth and Sports Ould Ali El Hadi.

ALGIERS-Minister of Justice and Sports El Hadi Ould Ali on Friday opened the 3rd African Congress and the 3rd National Conference of the Algerian Sports and Work Federation (FAST) at the national teams and young talents preparation centre in Souidania (Algiers).

ORAN-The 5 July stadium (Algiers), closed for nearly one month, will reopen in ten days, Minister of Youth and Sports El Hadi Ould Ali told APS.

CONSTANTINE- Minister of Youth and Sports El Hadi Ould Ali dubbed Friday, in Constantine, the suspension of the Algerian Karate-do Federation by the World Karate Federation (WKF) “unfair”.
