ALGIERS – The members of the Council of the Nation have adopted on Thursday the bill on the order amending the Criminal Procedure Code.
ALGIERS – The members of the People's National Assembly (APN) adopted, on Thursday in a plenary session, the bill relating to the order amending and supplementing the Code of Criminal Procedure.
ALGIERS- The members of the Council of the Nation (Upper House) adopted on Thursday the bill on the prevention and the fight against discrimination and hate speech, and the bill modifying and completing the order on the Penal Code.
ALGIERS- Minister of Justice Belkacem Zeghmati said Wednesday in Algiers that the bill amending Order 66-155 on the Code of Criminal Procedure aimed at "lifting certain obstacles found on the ground and hampering the Judicial Police action," besides "the reinforcement of the protection of public funds."
ALGIERS- Deputies of the People’s National Assembly adopted Thursday, by majority, the bill amending the code of criminal procedure aimed at preserving public funds by setting into motion public proceeding and removing constraints hindering the judicial police.

ALGIERS- Minister of Justice Tayeb Louh on Sunday has presented the bill amending and complementing the Criminal Procedure Code at the Council of the Nation (Upper House of Parliament), during a plenary session chaired by Speaker Abdelkader Bensalah, in presence of Minister of Relations with the Parliament Mahdjoub Bedda.
ALGIERS- The amendment of the Criminal Procedure Code, presented Tuesday at the People's National Assembly (lower house of Parliament) has introduced new measures to enhance the individual freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution, through the revision of the provisions relating to criminal record, rehabilitation and imprisonment for debt.
