Djerad kicks off new school year 2020-2021

BATNA- Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad on Wednesday officially opened, during his working and inspection visit to Batna, the new school year 2020-2021 from the primary school Abderrahmane El Akhdari.  

The Prime minister received, on the occasion, detailed explanations on the start of the school year, where the sectors’ administration has taken all the necessary measures to ensure a secured return to classes, in terms of health, for the pupils, whose number exceeds 180,329, including 32,276 new registered ones.

Djerad insisted on the need to respect the prevention measures against Coronavirus, calling on the pupils’ parents to “support the pedagogical and administrative staff to preserve the pupils’ health.”

The local director of education Djamel Belkadi pointed out that Prime minister has launched the experience of the digital book in the primary school Abderrahmane El Akhdari.

The education directorate set, in coordination with the inspectors and directors of the primary cycle, all the organizational and prevention measures for this start of the school year marked by an exceptional situation of the new Coronavirus pandemic.

Prime minister, accompanied by a large ministerial delegation, also kicked off the school year 2020-2021 for the pupils with specific needs from the school of the deaf in Batna.
