"I'm not worried at all," says Rabah Saadane
Rabah SaadaneALGIERS- National coach Rabah Saadane remains "quite and serene" despite the Algeria's heavy defeat against Serbia (0-3) in a friendly Wednesday evening, at the July-5 Stadium, which was jam-packed with more than 60,000 spectators who left the ground disappointed by the Desert Foxes' performance. "I'm not worried al all. I know that many of our players are currently off form. We had contested the match with what we had, and so, we were unfortunately unable to form the right squad we wanted to," said Saadane. In their first game after their creditable performance at the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations (Angola), the teammates of Mahdi Lacen (Racing Santander, Spanish Primera Liga), for whom it was the first match played with the national squad, missed the point completely against a talented Serbian team.
