National Election Monitoring Committee installed
LEGISLATIVE ELECTIONS 2012

ALGIERS- The National Election Monitoring Committee has been officially installed Wednesday here by Interior Minister Daho Ould Kablia.

In his address, Ould Kablia said that in addition to the current members, the Committee will also comprise representatives of political parties and independent candidates who will confirm their participation in the upcoming general election of 10 May 2012.

The minister also underlined that the Committee’s members, whose political parties will not be candidate in the upcoming election, will have to withdraw from the committee, adding that political parties that will be authorized soon will be allowed to join the Committee.
