Chess academy in Boumerdes soon (Kirsan Ilioumjinov)
ALGIERS- An academy teaching chess, the first of its kind in Africa, will be set up shortly in Boumerdes (50-km east of Algiers), the chairman of the World Chess Federation (FIDE), Kirsan Ilioumjinov, told a news conference Tuesday in Algiers.
