ALGIERS- Algeria’s national football team, which qualified for the 2014 World Cup playoffs, will play a friendly match against an undetermined opponent on August 14, the Algerian Football Association (FAF) announced Monday on its Website.

KIGALI- Algeria’s national football team defeated its Rwanda’s counterpart 1-0 (halftime: 0-0) at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Sunday, the fifth day of the World Cup 2014 qualifiers-Group H.

The only goal of the game was scored by Saphir Taider (51’) for Algeria.
