ALGIERS- An international symposium entitled "Major Mediterranean earthquakes" will be held from May 21 to23 in Algiers as part of the commemoration of Boumerdes quake of 12 May 2003, said Sunday the Centre for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG), the meeting’s organizer.

ALGIERS- Historical researcher Mohamed Rebah qualified Saturday in Algiers, martyr Abderrahmane Taleb, guillotined in 1958 as "a symbol of the studious youth of high Casbah" during the war of national liberation.
