EL TARF (Algeria)- Police of El Kala sub-prefecture (El Tarf) seized 4.5 kilogrammes of coral intended for smuggling, sources said Wednesday.

This arrest was made Tuesday during a routine roadblock on the RN 84 where the police elements discovered, after inspecting a vehicle, this quantity of coral hidden in plastic bags under the seats of the car.

The two individuals who were aboard the vehicle were arrested, the source who said that coral was to be transported to the border town of Umm-Teboul for the fraudulent export to Tunisia.
